SEATTLE (KGO) --

Nordstrom has pulled first daughter Ivanka Trump's line from its stores, saying it hasn't sold well. Now Neiman Marcus says it won't sell the jewelry on its website.

The line was named in a boycott called #GrabYourWallet and it appears to be working.

"I think there's a little bit of the toxicity to the brand," said shopper Lisa Navarette. She was on her way into San Francisco's Neiman Marcus location. The luxury department store announced Friday it will no longer be carrying Trump's precious jewelry line on its website.

The products are ‘just not selling?’” Noah said, quoting the news reports. “Wow. You know, for someone who would have won the popular vote, it sure seems like Trump is unpopular. Obviously what happened here is millions of dead illegal immigrants aren’t buying Ivanka’s shoes.”

Following the decision by Nordstrom, which was also prompted by the #GrabYourWallet boycott campaign, President Trump went on Twitter and attacked the company, tweeting, “My daughter Ivanka has been treated so unfairly by @Nordstrom. She is a great person—always pushing me to do the right thing! Terrible!” He then retweeted himself from the taxpayer-funded @POTUS account.

I'll be honest.  Ivanka would be very smart to do a line for Target or H&M to appeal to the crowds

She tried TJMaxx and another popular retailer. They both pulled her merchandise as well. She is keeping it professional though, and doing a much better job than her dad.

Not exactly what I meant.  I mean if she does have a passion for design I think it'd be a good move rather than downgrading her goods.

she has a passion for money imo, i feel like if she were passionate about fashion she'd be utterly embarrassed to rip off other designers.

I see what you're saying but it does happen all of the time.  Look at the similarities between Michale Kors and Louis Vuitton monogram bags.  Or when everyone was doing Chanel quilting.

It's cheaply made polyester #######... Not what I looked for when I went to those stores (but maybe the right products for H.M or Target like you say).  You can get cute silk tops and nice cotton shirts for the same price...

i get fashion designers being influenced by others or riding a trend for profit/marketing.  i don't know or care about fashion really at all, but so far as art and passion goes imo money and brand can't be your number one driving force. i especially don't know that much about trump's line, just using these shoes as a gauge. i've never shopped at nordstrom in my life and i don't plan on starting now!

Yeah I agree with you there.  That's why I'd suggest going the cheaper route.  Target, forever 21 et all often do this.
