To all the Donald Drumpf supporters on VJ who were willing to believe that Drumpf was only going after undocumented immigrants.  Well guess what?  Drumpf and his cronies are coming after your families and mine.  With the Republicans attacking legal immigration, you don't mind waiting twice as long right?

Yeah . very depressing after the long wait almost 2 years , now we are subjected to get deported .  But I think as long as they didn't mention H-1B , definitely they won't approach family based visa . They are talking about the visa lottery  to cut down to half 500,000 instead of 1 million , but to my information I think it's been 500,000 all the time or I might be mistaken

This isn't an end of legal immigration. It's removing certain categories, which was anticipated if Trump won the election. Fiance, Spousal, and children categories still remain.

 

And it's just a bill that might be introduced. It's a long way from actually being a law.

True.  However, the Republicans attack on legal immigration has started.  The attacks have gone beyond what was promised during the election.  How long do your think it will be for them to attack the fiancee, spousal, and children categories.  They don't have to eliminate them, but they will make it more difficult.  The San Bernardino shooter was a USC who petitioned for his K-1 fiancee shooter.  Drumpf promised to stop people like that.
