that never did stop me from letting stay with my family, she never wanted me to saty with family or stay in touch with them, upon arguing with her she always threaten me,since usa citizen, and i have asked my sister to come and visit us and show the good gesture.. which my sister did, but she never liked my family or won nt meet them or fly together to see my family. on top of it she started dating a guy under me.since i was travelling for my work here and there, she use to sleep with guy.and i always was scared by her if i would do something nobody ill listen to me in police and i might losse my legal status and would end up in jail.one days she left away with my money.

Cheating isn't abuse, not wanting you to speak to your family I'm not sure is enough.  Perhaps verbal abuse but as I said you should consult a Lawyer

No, that would be her emotionally abusing you.  Not you having emotional issues.  Again, consult a lawyer.

Proof That You Suffered Abuse

It is crucial that you provide as much evidence as possible showing that you have suffered abuse. Some of the best evidence of this would be police reports or restraining orders against the abuser. If the abuser was arrested or convicted of physically abusing you, you can submit court records discussing this. If you saw a doctor because of abuse, submit copies of your medical records. Similarly, if you have seen a counselor or have gone to a domestic violence shelter, you can submit evidence of that as well.

Remember, you do not have to show physical abuse in order to qualify under VAWA. Emotional or psychological abuse may be enough. If you have seen a psychologist or have been prescribed medication by a doctor due to the abuse, submit evidence of this as well.

As always, if you have difficulty obtaining this type of evidence, you can submit declarations from family members and friends who have witnessed the abuse you suffered, or to whom you have spoken about the abuse.

Preparing a compelling, well-organized set of evidence to support your VAWA application can be time-consuming and challenging. Hiring an attorney to help with this task can be well worth your while.

isn't it abuse when she refuses to meet my family and does not want me to meet them, fight with my family when they came to visit her ? dominate me because she has power to get me out of this country ? betrayed me because i am dependent on her. cheat on me with her boy and humiliate me same time does not give me the divorce as well ? i have medication bills of year that i was on drug. i have my sister whole mat her and felt the same, i can ask her write declaration form due to what she saw and felt about it. but what all the information she does have to give like visa number,? or any documents she needs to give because not everyone like to go to court and get into any legal formalities.
