Can vary. Depends on how much information they needed.

Think once received, if everything if good, maybe 1-3 weeks.

Again don't think there is an exact way to give a proper timeline as each case is uniquely different.

From sending of I-129F petiton to POE - 146 days.

Ours need joint sponsor. The interview was fine the consul did not ask a lot of question since we have our son on the interview. He just said that i did not meet the guideline for my 2015 income tax return and told me that we need a joint sponsor. He even apologized for the delay. The reason why i ask is to give me an idea and plan any travel arrangements accordingly. I read on of the website that it cant take 60 days from the date of the interview before we can ask about the status of our case... Thank you for your information. I appreciate it

Well that's always good to hear they are willing to help and give some advice.

The 60 days seems more like a blanket statement just to not get you anxious by waiting for any word so soon.

Hopefully they will process everything and get the visa back to you soon.

I am hoping that they will process it soon once they receive the documents they requested. So i can adjust my travel arrangements. It was frustrating at first for the delay but im still positive that it will turn out good. When i Google it and read it in a website regarding the 60 days thingy after interview it threw me off. Hoping that it wont take that long

Is there anyone in AP awaiting medical? Physical was done 3 weeks prior to interview, but some how it was not there as of our interview date so we were placed in AP. Medical confirmed a couple of days later that they were sending over the results. This is Kingston. Any clue of how long this generally takes? Any similar situations?

  • 1 month later...

hello!

I have my CR1 visa under AP too. They  asked me to send them my son's CRBA determination. I just sent the original documents yesterday via 2go and it might be received on Friday. I hope they won't take too long before they reopen my case. I hope to leave before this month ends.
