Hi, I have today received my letter I-797 saying my conditional resident status has been extended for one year and that within the next year I will receive an ASC appointment notice. Does anyone know how long roughly this takes? I am due to go back to the UK in 6 months as my US military husband has his reassignment. Thanks

hi

 

there is no appointment if you have enough evidence of bona fide marriage, it can be from 6 months to a year, that's what the extension letter is for

Ok, so will I receive anything else to say I will get my permanent green card? My Green card is due to expire in March
