On average how long does it take to complete the medical exam for myself and my daughter.  I need to travel to Manila from Tarlac and wanted to find out if I should book a hotel for one night between the first and second day? If I need a room can anyone recommend a cheap hotel near SLEC?

Most often for a single adult two days. BUT, because your daughter will be taking the exam she will undergo the TB skin test which takes 3 days to read the results.  So plan on 3 days for SLEC and recommendations for hotel rooms are on the top of the first page of this forum.

Depends on the age of your daughter.   2-14 years of age have to complete the TB skin test, which is a 3 day process, so don't go on Thursday if your daughter is in that age group.

Normal medical is a 2 day process with vaccinations on the 2nd day.

Make sure you have the DS-160 completed and copies of the confirmation page, SLEC will want a copy.

As they have stated it will take a few days, here is a decent hotel that is close by, Casa Bocobo Hotel.
