Hi everybody.I have question.My fiancee sent after signed the intent letter and g325 a forms,But she signed with blue ink pen.I read on instruction saying that use a black ink pen,So she has to send me another one signed with black ink pen or I can use the one she send me.Anyone can help me here,Thanks

It is my fault actually.I should have told her to use only black ink pen.

It doesn't matter at all. In fact, the letter of intent and g-325a can be scanned and emailed to you, so the colour of the ink isn't anything that'll give you problems.

Hi Manisali,

I've used blue in the past. Zero problems.

I've never heard of an RFE because of blue ink doesn't mean it hasn't happened though.

I would not worry about it.

You would think they would want blue ink as it is easier to differentiate between black and a photo copy.

It shouldn't be a problem. I thought they would want blue ink on originals since that is common practice for legal documents to prove a wet signature but now with high resolution copiers and scanners it doesn't matter. You can't tell the difference. They probably say black only because it might show up better on their scanners.
