If it was rejected, then your whole submission should have been returned to you. Call and have your call escalated to a tier 2 immigration officer to discuss your case and situation.

They told me that they already sent me a letter about it!?! But I never received a letter or my submission from them. So I'm gonna call them on Tuesday then. Thank you so much!

It seems to me that the people at USCIS are very confused right now. I paid the correct fee as well, i-485 and i-131 were accepted, but not the i-765 because of "wrong fee". At first I thought they had changed the rules for this new year and that EAD isn't free anymore.

I have seen people in the past get their EAD and/or AP rejected for not paying the fee they did not need to pay, even before fee changes happened. Humans make mistakes and I suppose the workers at the intake facilities are more confused right now because of the fee changes. Someone just messed up in your case. You sent it correctly. They rejected it mistakenly.

Thank you so much! Hope they correct this mistake as soon as possible. By the way, they rejected my I-131 since I showed insufficient proof (I put "family obligations" as reason for travel). Isn't that enough if you apply for AOS?

If you are a non-DACA AOS applicant, then no reason or explanation needed with the I-131 to obtain AP.

What else did you include together with the i-131 form?

I just filled it and required 60 days, and sent it with the other forms (I-765, I-485 and I-130) Did I miss something?

Not sure how it works for those who didn't come here on a K-1 but we have to send 2 passport style photos, copy of the bio page in the passport for identification, copy of the K-1 visa and i 94 for proof status, copy of entry stamps in passport. I also sent a copy of the marriage certificate with each application to show the name change, not necessary though, only with the i-485.

Yes, I sent everything you mentioned about? Passport pictures, I-94, marriage certificate, entry stamps?

Well if you sent all that with each application (ie six passport photos, two for each application, three i-94 and so on) then that's not the reason it was rejected either.

I sent only one of each of those except the photos of which I sent 2 for each application. It says in the instructions that it's not needed. I'm sure you already know that and just sent it to be on the safe side, but just wanted to note that it's not required per instructions when filed together. That said, it seems sometimes it matters more who gets your file than what the instructions state... which is unfortunate.. :protest:
