Interview today in St. Louis - Need New Medical! Thoughts?

My husband and I flew back to St. Louis yesterday (almost had a cancelled flight!) and had our interview this morning in downtown St. Louis. We submitted our case in December of 2015! We were very happy to finally have the interview today after it was cancelled once and rescheduled. 

 

The person who interviewed us was very friendly. We were asked about how we met and submitted more pictures of the two of us and some income verification documents and joint tax return for this past year. It was only about twenty minutes. We were told however that the medical from November 2015 was too old and we needed a new one to be submitted ASAP. She said we would get an RFE in the mail, but we could mail the new medical back to her as soon we got it. She told us the 1st green card is conditional for 2 years and then we'd need to apply again for the renewal. 

 

As soon as we left the building we called the doctor who did the medical and we have an appointment this afternoon and will mail it back to the local USCIS office as soon as we can.

 

We feel very positive, but just wish we didn't have the hangup with the medical.

02/16/2016 - NEW CARD BEING PRODUCED / I-765 Case Approved

02/19/2016 - NOA2 Approval for I-765 received / EAD Card was mailed

02/23/2016 - EAD Card arrived today via Priority Mail

11/02/2016 - Interview Scheduled for 12/01/2016 !!!

12/01/2016 - Interview date (Interview cancelled on 11/18/2016)

01/12/2017 - ACTUAL INTERVIEW IN ST. Louis (need to get new medical submitted)

01/19/2017 - New medical dropped off at USCIS & CASE APPROVED ! I-485 & I-130

01/25/2017 - GREEN CARD IN HAND! - DONE!!!!!!!

 

ROC Timeline

11/25/2018 - Mailed I-751 packet to Dallas address

11/28/2018 - I-751 packet showing as DELIVERED to USCIS in Dallas

12/04/2018 - Check cashed 

12/19/2018 - I797 NOA received in the mail (18 month extension) - Vermont Service Center

12/24/2018 - Biometrics Letter Received (appointment in early January)

01/03/2018 - Biometrics complete

12/17/2019 - New Card is Being Produced (approval following day and card mailed on 12/20)

12/23/2019 - 10 Year Green Card DELIVERED !!!

Can we make an Infopass Appointment as well to drop off the medical or should we just mail it back?
