Timeline

hey visa family i have a question for those who been through this process or going through it.. my fiance got a call today from the embassy saying they would return his passport through dhl because they need evidence of his arrest in january 2014.. this has us in complete shock because First of all hes never been in arrested that date and second of all the lady said in another location where hes never been.. the counsels asst called to tell us . but i let her know he wasnt arrested or anything..she said she would said an email with instructions in regards to the date of the arrest & what info to send..never recieved email so i wrote her and asked where were they and she said she wont send it yett cause they wil review the case again.. have people gotten their passport back &'still issued a visa afterwards.. she didnt say denied and case is still under ap with todays date.. we are so confused.. ? any advice would help
