Is it okay to call USCIS cust. Service about case?

 

will they give you more information then the case status online?

 

just curious

Sure, it's okay to call and ask. But don't expect a whole lot of information...USCIS works at USCIS's pace.

its my husbands case for his n400. Is it possible i call USCIS.

 

he works mostly and by the time hes done from work USCIS closed

Thanks! Unfortunately, you haven't linked your timeline to your profile here, so I can't see it still (as noted by clicking on "Timeline" under your profile here).

 

Unfortunately, my knowledge on the N400 is limited. I don't see anything on there directly suggesting that the status can be discussed with somebody else (except an interpreter, attorney, or the preparer). It can't hurt to call and try, however. Beyond that, I have to defer to somebody more knowledgeable.
