Thanks for making a continuation.    We got our NOA1 on October 13th. My husband is from Uganda. Up to now, we haven't heard anything. I just hope they are at least doing SOMETHING with it!

We moved from Texas to Alaska . Our Papers never arrived to Alaska Office
we were in a limbo with our N-400 without any answer from USCIS for two years.  
USCIS closed our case N-400------------------------Mar - 2010
2010 We moved to Argentina temporally for my wife to study abroad under 9 FAM 42.22 N1.10 Lawful Permanent Resident Students Studying Abroad

USCIS letter asking for data ----------------------------Apr - 2010
USCIS closed twice our case --------------------------Apr - 2010
Once my wife degree was complete we Filled for Returning Residence DS-117 under 9 FAM 42.22 N1.10 

At the embassy we were notify that the 9 FAM 42.22 N1.10  the rule had changed------------Nov - 2014 Our return was Denied
Filled for Expedite DS-117 in Peru --------------------Nov - 2014 Denied
In order to be able to go back as a family and fill for I-130 we had to abandon my wife's green card at the embassy.

FIlled I-407 Abandonment of Green Card ----------Aug - 2015 Aproved
Re starting the whole process to return to our home in USA

I just checked USCIS app and I see that 10 people above me and 10 people below me got approved either last week or this week including today. This is making me so nervous and curios that why they didn't touch my case or change status assuming they touched it.

 

Anybody have any idea or suggestion on this. Pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee 

USCIS

07/22/2016: I-130 sent to USCIS

07/25/2016: NOA1, I-130 received at USCIS Nebraska Service Center

02/14/2017: NOA2, I-130 approved (205 Days after NOA1)

02/27/2017: Approved I-130 sent to NVC

 

NVC

03/03/2017: I-130 received at NVC

03/06/2017: Case number assigned

03/10/2017: Received email with case number and invoice number & DS-261 Submitted

03/10/2017: Received & Paid AOS fees

03/14/2017: Received & Paid IV fees

03/16/2017: DS-260 available & submitted, AOS and IV packets sent to NVC

03/20/2017: Scan Date

05/22/2017: Case Complete (63 Days from Scan Date)

06/02/2017: Interview Notification received

06/22/2017:Biometrics done

07/01/2017: Medical done

07/11/2017: Interview in Mumbai (And 1st Marriage anniversary)

07/13/2017: Visa Received

07/27/2017: USA Entry

 

Removing Condition

 

04/22/2019: I-751 sent early 5 days

05/20/2019: Case was return back to me

05/30/2019: I-751 Delivered to TX (2nd time)

07/25/2019: Bio-metric completed

09/19/2019: Interview, Case Approved

09/26/2019: Green Card received 😀

Best advice: stay strong amistry18!! You could try and call the Customer Service hotline, but in all likelihood will get the standard response - "You are still within normal processing time...". The Nebraska processing deadline hasn't been updated since November 30,2016. I'm hoping it'll be updated by the end of this month. At that time, you can call them and request an immediate review since you will be outside of normal processing time. But in the meantime, keep the faith!

I have renewed hope! Today was the first day of my new job, AAAANNNNDDD my mother's evil boss was fired, after 18 horrible years.

Also, a friend of ours is about to schedule his fiancee's K-1 interview in Nairobi. They are also from Uganda, so to hear they have gotten through has been a strong encouragement.

Congratulations on your new job, I  hope your first day went well. Wow 18 years and fired, I'm sure everyone who works there is relieved!!

Excellent for your friends, I hope they have a smooth journey.

I'm just checking USCIS everyday lol but I really do need to organize my newest evidence from my last trip to the DR. Good to stay busy
