"Unsealed transparent plastic bag or folder" for documents for the Interview. Can I just bring an organized 3 ring binder?

Or is this unsealed plastic bag recommended? And are we just talking about a regular large zip lock back from the grocery store to put the binder in? Anyone that's already interviewed please send a picture/example.

Thanks!

Where are you interviewing?  That can make a big difference.  In many embassies, you are separated from the CO by a glass wall, with only a slim opening at the bottom, so a three ring binder would not work.  The other issues with binders is they can set off metal detectors as you go through security.
