I'm still waiting too! It's Day 273 for me. Accordingly to USCIS website, my local field office is processing I485s received on May 16 2016. My application has PD of May 10 2016 so submitted a Service Request last week only to get reply today saying my application is still within normal processing times! I think that's wrong but have to wait 30 days before I can submit another Service Request. I kinda feel they just make it up as they go along!

An Infopass is going to the USCIS office to talk to an immigration official about your case.

Well after a long wait, on Feb 17th I got my interview notice, for March 22.  Finally!!!  I'm really hoping I don't have to re-do the physical, since I am adjusting from a K1 and my physical was in Jan 2016, but from what I've read as long as you FILED before I year then it should still be good.

Now the push to get all my evidence organized.

Does anyone know if they take photos?  I'm intending on printing out some photos and just wondering if I should make doubles of them?

Ive heard on occasion they may ask to keep a picture or 2 to put in your file but supposedly it doesn't happen that often that is them requesting to keep the photos... at my interview they never even asked to see a single picture  (we brought a photo album) I was adjusting from a k1 also

I was hoping for assistance in the following matter. I did search through the forums and I'm not too familiar with the process so wasn't sure of some abbreviations and a couple of the other threads I noted didn't seem to have updates.

My wife was issued her GC on 5/5/14 and therefore was set to expire 5/29/16.

We filed Form I-751 May 5, 2016 and attended our appointment on July 19, 2016. We were told that the GC would take a few months.

We haven't received the updated card as of yet and when I called in, I was told that this is normal processing time. Issue is that the one year extension is due to expire in 2 months and we were planning on traveling overseas in June.

Is not receiving the GC 8 months after the appointment normal? What would be the best course of action in my situation?

Thank you very much in advance.
