Hi everyone,

Happy New Year!

So I received my I-751 package back today from the CSC, I filled too early, this is my fault.

For those who had the same situation:

  1. Do you send a brand new I-751 form with new dates?
  2. Do you include the notice from USCIS (stating that I filled too early) in the second submission?
  3. My money order has been stamped "For deposit only", not cashed. Do you advise to get a brand new money order? Or can you send the same one, as the money has not been cashed?
  4. Can you include new "good faith marriage" evidences?

Thank you so much for your help!

Hi Ralph,

I would send a new I-751, and just include the notice from USCIS. Insofar as the money order, you can still send the same one. The old "good faith marriage affidavits" are also valid. I am sure that you will not be penalized since it was a good faith error that happens all the time.
