I-129F packet arrived to TX Lockbox on Jan. 5th. Based on December 2016 filers, it looks like the NOA1 waiting time is about 3 weeks.

 

:(

 

I'm guessing the NOA1 will arive around the 23rd - 27th if you filed first week of January.

I've just noticed that my $535 payment has been posted

  • 01/03/17 --- I-129F mailed to Lewisville, TX
  • 01/04/17 --- Delivered at Dallas lockbox
  • 01/12/17 --- NOA1 text and email 
  • 01/12/17 --- NOA1 date on hard copy notice
  • 04/28/17 --- NOA2 notification
  • 05/16/17 --- NVC received date
  • 05/17/17 --  NVC case # 
  • 05/19/17 --  NVC file on transit
  • 05/22/17 --- Embassy Instructions via email
  • 06/20/17 --- Interview date

I just checked my money order to see if it is been cashed it has been it was cashed yesterday so I'm so excited it's like a step in the right direction I'm trying to think positive !!!!??????

How did you check your money order? I didn't know you could track that your love is in Jamaica too? Love it!

Yes, he's Jamaica.On back of the the  receipt there's  1-800 number call it in then and then enter in your 11 digit receipt number and then put in the amount of the money order and it will tell you if it's been cashed or not .

My package was delivered Jan. 4 and the check was cashed yesterday, Jan. 10. Looks like we got screwed - big slow down in processing time AND we got hit with the big filing fee increase. Great! :D:angry:

That's referring to a hard copy of the same acknowledgment of the application receipt (NOA1). They probably put that in the mail today.
