Building a wall is absolutely asinine, if you aren't going to monitor and actively patrol the border. Cameras will not suffice. We already have walls up in high traffic areas, and people find a way around it.  They will find a way around Trumps wall, because Trump has no idea, support, or funding for it. Perhaps if he recalled the entirety of our foreign deployed armed forces we would have enough personnel to adequately patrol the border. But as it is, it's just another lame soundbite from Trump with zero thought put into it.  It sounds great to Bubba and Billy Ray Joe Bob, but will not stem the flow of illegal immigration.

 

If he really wanted to address illegal immigration, he would listen to the economists and address the problem from an economic standpoint. Force e-verify for every single job in this country. But he won't, because small business relies on illegal immigrants for manual labor.

10. Reform legal immigration to serve the best interests of America and its workers, keeping immigration levels within historic norms.

None of that addresses the root problem and is easily overcome by illegal immigrants. If you don't make it financially punitive for American business', the flow of illegal immigrants will continue to flow. If Trump isn't willing to mandate e-verify, then he is just like all the other pseudo conservatives who don't really care to stem the flow of illegal immigrants into this country. His plan is nice and all, but it is the same bull that every other republican has put forth, a toothless attempt that will get zero results.

Nobody else does but his accountants and his tax attorneys and while I don't believe much of what spews from his cakehole Trump clearly indicated during a nationally televised debate to Hillary's accusation he doesn't pay taxes with a dim-witted response "That makes me smart."

What small business relies on illegal immigrants?  I am in the heart of Dallas we have as many if not more than most area.  I do see crews made up of illegals.  Landscape, Roofers, construction but not very many.  I do see Landscape. and roofing companies owned by illegals and they don't pay taxes nor collect sales tax. 

 

Yes there will be some industries that will have a shortage of labor, but these will be filled by American who used to do them.  They will be paid more, but they will also pay taxes and help our economy.  Now a lot of money paid to illegals goes back to Mexico and does nothing for the US economy.

That isn't what I'm saying.  Overstay isn't entering illegally, nor do some have anything to do with Obamas amnesty programs.  I still stand by my question
