And just to make sure...

I have to physically be oversees to send out expedited naturalization paperwork yes?

Just having PCS orders to go there isn't enough?

Hi Roel,

I just came across your thread while i was doing some additional research for my case (very similar to yours) and was hoping you could guide me since you went through it fairly recently. My US citizen spouse just got an opportunity to work in the UK on an expat assignment. I've been a conditional green card holder for 2 years not and submitted my I-751 application for removal of conditions in January 2017 and appeared for my biometrics in March 2017. I just found out that Expedited Naturalization may be an option in my case and wanted to check with you to see what requirements you've come across while working on your case? Would it be possible for me to apply for it right now and then maybe move in the next 2-3 months? My lawyer also told me that there is a likelihood that i can get my biometrics done in the UK and that the only thing I may have to come back for would be the interview/oath.

Any help from you would be SO MUCH appreciated!

You need to get your petition approved first since it's pending. Then you need to be stationed overseas and on your husband's orders for at least a year from the day you file for naturalization.  Please read here. it gives information about conditional residents and naturalization. https://www.uscis.gov/policymanual/HTML/PolicyManual-Volume12-PartG-Chapter5.html
