Hi All,

I wanted to ask those who are or were in the process of the K1 visa. Did you follow up with them or did you just wait till you get notifications? I submitted my petition for my fiance last month and received NOA after 7 days. Do I just wait for NOA2? Or should i continuously call to make sure the application is moving along?

In the letter it says if I don't receive my NOA by a certain date to call and follow up. Are they referring to the next notice or the current one itself?

During this phase of your journey you just have to wait.  Continuously calling them will only cause you unnecessary frustration.

Your timelime indicates your approximate adjudication date is February 23-March 2, 2017.   Many November, and even some October,  filers are still awaiting approval.  Processing guides state they are working on November 17, 2016 NOA1 date.  http://www.visajourney.com/content/times/

Generally, NOA1 comes much quicker than NOA2 does.  http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1flow

My NOA1 doesn't say to call to follow up if I don't have NOA2 by a certain date.  Maybe they've changed them since then?

I agree with Lionessdion, Calling them very 5 minutes while waiting for your NOA2 (which is the longest time wait i believe) would just cause frustration and unnecessary phone bills.

You calling them will not make it move along any quicker and I do not see any benefits in constantly calling. You know they have it as they have sent your NOA1 so try and stay patient and carry on with your life as normal and start preparing for the big one. :)

Best of luck with your journey, I wish you a smooth process
