Has any VJ members applied for a Schengen visa at the French consulate in Atlanta?  I have come across some very old posts, and they were all very discouraging.

I am a green card holder, originally from the Philippines.  Im more nervous about this than my original k-1 interview.

if no..    Anyone recently apply for a Schengen visa,  can you give me any hints.   please?  thank you

Well I got my Schengen visa.  Yelp, gives horrible reviews of this consulate so I was very worried.  We went to the Web page and found a list of all the requirements. Started a folder and and compiled all the paperwork.  The day of the interview, the man doing the interview went down the list and asked for each item. As he asked I handed it to him. Once we got to the end he asked for my passport and self addressed envelope. Smiled and said you will get your visa in 2 to 4 weeks.

Easy cheesy  if your prepared
