Any Concurrent AOS Houston Filers Sept. 2016

Anyone?  Would like to keep up with Houston AOS filers.

We filed from a visitors visa.

Adjustment of Status from a Visitors Visa:

Married: January 3, 2013

Chicago lockbox:

Sent: 9/12/16: I-130 + I-485 + I-765 (USPS)

Delivered: 09/15/2016

Received Texts of All 3 receipt's: 09/23/2016

10/04/2016 Received all (3) I-797C receipts via USPS

10/08/2016 Received Biometrics letter received

10/13/2016 Biometrics, walk in-successful.

11/18/2016 EAD card Approved. I-765 //64 Days

11/23/2016 Text from USCIS- EAD card mailed today

11/26/2016 EAD Card received in the mail.

12/01/2016 Applied for Social Security Card

12/08/2016 Received Social Security card in mail

12/14/2016 Applied for Texas ID card.

12/27/2016 Received Texas ID card in mail.

08/08/2017  Sent in paperwork for renewal of EAD card.

08/10/2015   Renewal petition for EAD delivered by USPS to USCIS

08/16/2017   Received text-email notifications EAD /AP renewal received by USCIS

10/02/2017   New medical done-other one long expired.

10/13/2017  Received letter of interview-- Nov. 13, 2017

11/02/2017  Received email and text, Interview cancelled, will be rescheduled.   Heartbroken....

12/18/2017  Still awaiting new interview date.  Have not received renewed EAD/AP card.....Waiting, waiting... Waiting.

12/29/2017  End of the year, not received new interview date or renewed EAD-AP card.  Happy New Year!!

01/25/2018  Welcome to 2018, not a damn word from USCIS on new interview date.

02/02/2018  RECEIVED NEW INTERVIEW DATE    FEB. 21   AND THATS MY BIRTHDAY TOO.

02/21/2018   Had interview, was told in about 4 weeks for a decision... more waiting......

02/23/2018   Renewal of EAD-AP card approved.

02/28/2018   Text from USCIS,  EAD-AP card mailed

03/03/2018   Received in mail EAD/AP combo card.

07/03/2018   Info Pass in Houston,   Houston USCIS office said they are 2000 petitions behind, give them till end of August, as they are doing clean up from interviews.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).
