I've seen a number of comments similar to yours, why does it sound like it would be ok, if this were not a mentally lame person this happened to? To me his handicap and being outnumbered make it only worse.

It wouldn't be ok, the guy probably never would of ended up in the situation if he wasn't  mentally challenged. So it really gets me pissed.

 

I understand people are cruel and some people don't need to exist in our society.  If you pick on the elderly, children, or mentally challenged people then your punishment should be double or triple.

I think he said " That could have been my son or daughter doing that" or maybe he just thought that. Probably doesn't want to make that statement.
