VJ K-1 estimates

Hi VJers,

Just noted that VJ's VOA2 estimates, i.e., "Based on timeline data, your I-129F may be adjudicated between...", are different for the same NOA1 dates. Is this not solely dependent on the I-129F NOA1 date?

Does it also depend on, say, consulate, etc.?

Hm, the examples I checked are all at California Center. But one of them was transferred from another center. Maybe that is why the time estimates are about one month different.

Probably that explains :)

Yes, that'll do it :)

Those numbers are estimates to help with the timing of things.

They are not definate and are sometimes quicker than the time frames listed

I believe the OP just meant that if everything is the same why are the estimates different. VJ estimates are based on the same data not randomly other data if input is the same.. but as OP mentioned one case was transferred ie input was different providing slightly different output. :)

Tested the theory.

My NOA 1 is 11/2 country Philippines - the ever changing VJ timeline says approval between 1/11 and 1/18 based upon other similar VJ past approvals.

Next up another member

also NOA 1 of 11/2 but country is Brazil still says 1/11 and 1/18 range so the country of beneficiary does not appear to make a difference in the VJ estimates at least not in the example above.
