Its a fact . While creating a couple of vastly majority Black Districts in our state , it has also left most of the rest so majority white, that the they don't need the black vote to get elected. So more Republicans in the Congress

I'm all for term limits, but why not just make it a max of 2 4year terms across the board for both Senators and Congressman? I've never really understood the two year terms for Congressmen, seems too short to get anything effective done and a good chunk of the 2nd year is spent running for re-election.

I still like Cruz, I am not happy with the way he acted toward the end, but he finally supported Trump. 

 

He pissed off a lot of Texans with his stunt, I think it hurt his political career.

That sounds like a fair offer. Yeah, the less money and time wasted on just trying to get re-elected the better. 4 years seems to work well for the presidency, why not apply it across the board? Seems logical to me.

I'm also in favor of tv time limits. One prime time tv commercial a week is all they get. We get absolutely barraged with commercials by these clowns, by the time the election rolls around, I hate them all.

Now that I agree with 110%. Having to run for Office every 2 years seems crazy. You are always in the campaign mode
