F-1 AOS Fee Waiver? Form I-912

I recently discovered that there's a fee waiver option for form I-485. This could save us a lot of money but I wasn't sure if it was a good idea. It says that if the person filling out Form I-864 is not a member of your household (my husband's parents, so they're not a part of the household) then their income will not be counted toward our eligibility for the waiver. Has anyone ever filed this fee waiver? 

 

My concern is what if they determine we don't qualify for this waiver, would they deny my application because there is no check attached to the application? We are both college students, so our household income is below their 150% of poverty line limits.

please read the instructions carefully, you are only eligible for I-485 waiver if

 

a) u have an approved I-360  b) other special refugee requirements

 

So u are NOT eligible
