Hi there, Montreal is very slow when it comes to sending documents back to them. Then add the Holidays to the mix and you will have it even slower. I've seen it from a couple of weeks to months. For me it took me 6 weeks to get our visas back after sending then more information.

No mine was years ago, but they haven't changed. Montreal has always been like this and now with them being the only one doing Immigrant visas I'm sure that will slow them down some too.

Interview date, Montreal: December 12th 2016, been approved at the interview but 3 hours later got an email of AP for proof of relationship.

December 19th 2016: They received our documents.

Update done on Dec 20th, 21st, 30th..... still waiting .... but with Christmas vacation and they are back to work today (Jan 4th), we hope that delays will not be too long.

Nanaalex, for us (CR1), I sent back the extra documents that they wanted at the 315 Place D'Youville Suite 500, Montreal, Quebec, H2Y 0A4

 

The address was in the email with the bar code that we need to give with the extra documents that they wanted.

 

Nanaalex, do you have any update on your case (CEAC website) since you provide the missing documents after your interview in February 2016 ?

We actually still haven't sent the paperwork since our interview in February 2016 It' s a long story but we're hoping to send them before the end of this month.

Are you sure your case is still active for you to send the paperwork to? Normally there is a very firm timeline for sending documentation.

Yes! Which is crazy to me but I've sent like 3 emails since the interview to be sure haha and the last time they confirmed with me that it's fine was not too long ago.

They just said to send in the documents when we're ready and if something is missing when they receive it they will let me know. (I'm guessing a new medical/police record and my passport)
