I got the first email notification from USCIS Acceptance Confirmation on 11/23 that they accepted it and sent to USCIS California Service Center for processing. After that I haven't receive anything about second notification. I have checked visa status with receipt number, it still said "Case Was Received" and if I did not receive my receipt notice by December 18, please contact them. I am not sure what I am suppose to do with that. Can anyone give me insight about this situation? Is that normal or does that take too long? First my Visa Journey timeline said I should get around December 28 and now it moved to February 2 - 17. We are getting marry on August 26 2017. Should I be worry about it?

Have you received the first notice of action by mail (the notice that they received your petition)? That's the receipt they're referring to. The noa2, the approval notice, will be sent when they adjudicate your petition, that can take up to 5 months, could be more or less so you need to be patient, it's  been barely a month.

You should not make any plans before having the visa on hand.

No I have not receive it by mail. I only got the email notification with case #. I filled out my current address in form.

You should do what they told you to do in Red and if you did already what did they tell you when you called them?

Have you case number ready when you call.

Verify the address they have is the address you gave them.

Normally if they try to mail it to you and it goes back to USCIS undeliverable then they will update your case status to state problems with delivery.
