Immigrant Visas at the Moscow Embassy Info

I found a PDF from 2016 made by the State Dept for info on applying for immigrant visas in Moscow.

It's a little more detailed than the Embassy website and easier to read/print out:

Well past this stage, but it is good information for those heading to the Consulate for an interview.  I find it interesting that they included a statement encouraging the petitioner to accompany the interviewee.  I was there when Katya had her interview and it was a good experience.  I also encourage anyone in the CR1 or K1 to be there for their significant other if they can manage it.

It seems things have changed a bit over the years compared to older threads I've read on this forum. And there is still slightly conflicting info on the Embassy site concerning translations: now they want you to have everything translated into English (even if it's in Russian), whereas on the Embassy site it doesn't specify that.

 

I know it was discussed not too long ago on the RUB forum but, I'm wondering about the 10-14 days before the interview for the medical exam? That just seems like such a long wait and a huge inconvenience to those not in the Moscow area. I hope we can do the 2-3 days before and the results will be ready in time.
