my husbands i485 is pending review of a background check after the interview. He currently has advance parole and was planning to travel out of country. For you who have traveled recently out of country, what documents other than the combo card did you need to enter back into the country?

thanks in advance

In your situation I would wait for the Green card to travel. You are not guaranteed entry. Given the country and political climate

I would not risk it. If AOS would be denied for whatever reason while you are out of the country you won't be able to get back in.

Spoiler
