On December 14 I sent my N-400 form package to Texas which was delivered by Fedex on December 15. On December 20 USCIS cashed my check, but I haven't received any text or email or NOA by mail yet.

Is it normal? Why do some people get the 3 forms of communication, and I haven't got any of it yet?

Did you send form G-1145 with your application? You will only receive an e-mail / text confirming that they have received your application if you sent that form along.

The physical NOA will come, but due to the holidays, there seem to be some delays. My NOA took over two weeks to get here from the date they received my package.

I didn't know anything about this form. :( How can I fix this? Is it too late? My USPS location is always delivering mails that aren't ours. :( I am afraid of missing any communication from USCIS.

Please, help me to fix this. Thanks

Is there any way to fix it? I was so overwhelmed, and I really didn't read anything about receiving text message or email communication from USCIS. I wished someone had told me that. :(

If someone knows how I could fix this, please share with me. Maybe it is too late for the G-1145 form, but maybe there are other options out there that is going to help me no to miss any piece of correspondence from USCIS. Any help is appreciated.

Wait for your physical NOA in the mail. With the case number on your NOA, you can create an online account on the USCIS website and opt to receive text and/or e-mail updates.

I got my NOA from USCIS. If I go online and opt to receive updates by text message or e-mail does it mean that USCIS is NOT going to send the hard copy of any letter they send to me?

Thanks for the information. I will go online to opt to receive notice from USCIS by text or/e-mail too. I want to make sure that I don't miss any important step towards to the citizenship. My local Post Office keeps delivering mails from other people at our mail box. They have also delivered couple of our packages in different states. Can you believe that?

Good luck to you.

USCIS will always send you paper notices regardless of whether you opt for text/e-mail messages or not. Good luck!

Does anyone know what PRIORITY DATE means on the NOA receipt? Thanks in advance.

Same here. I sent my N-400 form on Dec. 28 and I still didn't received any email or text (I submit the form G-1145 form) and my credit card hasn't been charged either. I'm starting to get worried...hopefully they are just swamped because of the holidays.

I was getting nervous too, until I got the NOA. I sent my package on December 14, and I only got my NOA 2 days ago. They cashed my check on 12/20/16. Be patient and wait a little bit longer, especially because we had the holidays that got in our way, and USCIS got the holidays break too.

I truly tried not to worry about it too much, given the holidays. I believe that now that the holidays are over, everybody that is eligible is going to get their NOA.

Don't worry. It's holiday season. Everyone's gonna be behind on things. My wife's N400 fee was cashed yesterday (see signature for specific dates. I pad with personal check.)

Yes, they are working on the cases. Lets keep positive, and everybody is going to get their letters, and finish the process of naturalization soon. Keep posting your dates, because we all are in the same track.
