It was there but narrower on the forums/topics.  I wanted to standardize the menu on the right and start using it for navigation and other items (not added yet) to have a consistent useful panel around the site.  I can perhaps make it disappear on the ipad (it does on phone screen sizes).

I agree with the main message area being too small. It should be widened. Also, why are the "Latest VJ member approvals" (right hand column) showing up on every page now?

At the top, on the right, it now says Start New Topic. It used to say Go to First Unread Post. Any hope of that being amended? Save a heck of a lot of scrolling.

 

I can not see any way now to preview posts, either.

 

I'm old. I hate change. No known remedy for that ;)

Oh I see, so there's a plan to put other items there. Got it. Maybe it could be slightly narrower? It just seems kind of too large on smaller laptop screens. :/ I'm sure on huge desktop monitors it's fine, but for me it feels slightly invasive. (My max screen resolution is 1440x990 btw.)

If you could make it disappear on the iPad that would be great! I have an iPad mini, so again, it just seems too big and would read better without it.

In the past, when you click on your profile at the top right hand, it normally gave the option to update timeline.  There you would scroll down and see estimated approval date for your case which is missing now.

I agree.  The main area should take the most space and not the side bars on each side.

Another feature is missing which is font type. Previously, we were able to choose a different kind of font name for the fonts, but now there is no option to change fonts from the default fonts.
