CEAC says "issued" how long on average until visa in hand?

Hi everyone, hope you all had a lovely holiday. Just wondering what everyone else's experience have been like once the visa says "issued" on CEAC? Ours just changed to issued today, but my finace booked a flight for Jan 7th, thinking we would have it by then. Just looking for any experience you may have had with how long it took to get your visa after is has been issued. Thanks!

Minus the fact never ever book a flight before physically having the visa in hand... and you have to account for the holidays also which cause delays.... but anyways, ours took about 4 days from "Issued" until my partner picked it up in person. So really depends how fast the embassy releases it and if it is being picked up or delivered. Might just get it in time for the flight...

Mine also got issued and handed to the courier today

Assuming nothing out of the ordinary happens, your fiance will have it well before the 7th. My email said one to two business days, so even with the Bank Holiday, you'll have it middle of next week I should imagine.

We didn't get an email. It was issued today, but that doesn't mean it was handed to the courier today.
