I possibly read somewhere that the passport sized photo for the g 325a form MUST be taken within 60 days of sending in the I 129f paperwork.. Any truth to this?!?!

06/30/2016 : I-129F Packet Sent

11/08/2016 : Interview - APPROVED!

11/23/2016 : POE - Dallas, Texas

From sending of I-129F petiton to POE - 146 days.

 

02/03/2017 - Married 

02/24/2017 - AOS packet sent

06/01/2017 - EAD/AP Combo Card Received in mail

12/06/2017 - I-485 Approved

12/14/2017 - Green Card Received in mail - No Interview

Whenever I had to send in the G-325A in, I included the receipt to prove it was taken within 30 days, although they probably also just take your word for it, too.

03-19-2021: Officially an American Citizen 🇺🇸 Entire journey from initial K-1 Visa filing to Naturalization took 5 years, 8 days.

30 days.

Whenever I had to send in the G-325A in, I included the receipt to prove it was taken within 30 days, although they probably also just take your word for it, too.

The intent on it is that you dont send a photo back from when you were in Junior High School because you think you looked better back then. It needs to be recent. I suspect if they see it on your bio page of passport or somewhere else and they look nothing alike - you will incur delays until you fix it...

Thats my logical take on it.

I didnt have that problem as I did in fact take a recent pic.
