Not implying this is even the cause, but...because they don't know which story is true. Maybe your husband falsified? Maybe she did? That's a discrepancy that needs to be resolved. The burden of proof is on you. That said....I really hope if that is the case that they tell you what the problem is so you can resolve it.

Also, would there be a positive outcome of today's interview i wonder if we perfectly matched all the answers? They didn't give us a chance to explain and i heard they always do.

At a guess, I am thinking that his previous marriage, your time out of status and the dropped questions at the stokes are all adding up to an alarm bell for the case officer. Best of luck getting it all resolved, make sure you have all of the divorce paperwork to hand as a first step!

Thanks for your support! I don't even know if I'm hoping for this or for a "big surprise", because we do have bunch of evidence and they still don't believe us... I don't know what else can we do... I couldn't even imagine it would be possible for our case, i thought uscis has some secret ways to find out everything about everyone and they would know if the marriage is real, but look at that..

There must be a reason for stokes interview. It is very rare and is scheduled when USCIS suspects fraud. Instead of analyzing those 3 answers I would try to determine why they chose stokes interview on the first place. This is the key.

May I ask how long you were out of status before meeting your husband? Since you say you're adjusting from a work visa, how did you support yourself inbetween?

Reading your whole story (great detective work Damara ) the biggest flag seems to be that your husband brought another woman here who is now a citizen (all fine and well) and then with over-lapping timelines goes into another relationship with someone who is currently out of status. But if that was the issue that's causing the extra scrutiny, then just as you I'm wondering why you haven't been informed.

Yeah... i really wonder what it is. Hopefully she will send the notice today and we will get it by the end of the week.

May be the officer doesn't like me personally and decided to use those 3 mismatches. Before she started the interview she was explaining that if she can't approve she will sent a NOID and i said that there is no way she will have enough evidences to do that. Well, i was really annoyed and mad because of the long wait and now the 2nd interview out of nowhere, so i was giving her a little attitude i must admit. May be she just decided to give us a hard time.

Why would you do this to the person/people who would eventually determine your fate in this country?

Thank you! Before meeting my husband for the first time i was out of status for 1 year. I worked (unauthorized employment is forgiven for spouses of us-citizens), i had a ssn and a state id. I paid taxes every year too and did not commit fraud to obtain employment. I was honest about everything on my application. Before the interview the lawyer said that the issue is not about me (my status or anything else), but about my husband's petition, because thats what the notice says (reason for interview: i-130 petition), and she also said that this petition is to prove your relationship.

Yep, informed or at least asked anything related, specific dates like "how long you lived at such-snd-such address for"... i don't even know... anything connected to the timelines overlap... All questions were about us...

I think my reaction to this was understandable. I even told my lawyer that i'm very mad and might say something at the interview and she said it's appropriate to be angry in my situation and basically gave me a green light. (Not that i was asking for the permission, i wouldn't be able to pretend anyway)

I understand being upset at how the process played out for you, but your attorney was okay with taking out your frustrations at the second interview? That sounds a little odd to me.

No i didn't. I told her that I'm really mad and i may say something to the officer, she said it would be acceptable and understandable. Just like that.

Alright. But that's very strange to me as her job is to do everything she can to get the approval, and taking out frustrations is counter to that.

Once again, i didn't misinterpreted anything. What does it have to do with being a us citizen? Am i supposed to jump and smile like a trained seal in front of them just because i was born without some piece of paper? I did not talk back, but i expressed my anger, i have a right to do that, i am a human. They made a mistake. Few times, by the way, since they want to deny a legit case.

Oh, and I never said that i wasn't polite about it. Everything was fine.

PS. I don't want to fight with you guys, so lets just let it go. Since the fact that the officer personally doesn't like me (as i think) should not be affecting the decision, right.
