I have a question:

I am traveling to Ghana soon.

I have my ticket, however my maiden name is on my yellow fever card.

I have a new passport in my old married name.

The immunization place I used in 2010 to get vaccinated claims to be under new ownership and they staff there is suggesting that I pay 265.00 to get new vaccination for yellow fever (my current yellow fever doesn't expire until June 2020)

What should I do to be certain I can pass through Customs In Ghana?!?????

I tried to call Embassy of Ghana in Washington D.C. but was on hold for 1.25 hour with NO HELP/ Call was never answered.

HELP I LEAVE IN 100 DAYS!!!!

I recently travelled to visit my husband in Senegal by way of Lome Togo and was stopped by customs to produce yellow health card. my thoughts to you would be to pay the fee to update so there won't be any problems. You don't want to be denied entry.

Bring a marriage certificate or your prior passport in maiden name as proof of name change?

I wouldn't get another yf shot - per the new WHO rules one vaccine seems to last forever and 10 yr boosters are not required.

I wouldnt pay to get another yellow fever shot, it last for ten years. Is there a way that you can add your new last name on your card? I had to fill my own card out, also I travel to ghana both times they never even looked at my yellow fever card

Simple solution take a copy of your marriage certificate in case you are asked for yellow card. Not a big deal. No need to endanger yourself with s shot not required or needed.
