.. My case was first received by USCIS on July 11th 2016' and was forwarded to the Nebraska office.. I just received this notice a few days ago

I was wondering if my case was transferred in order to help with the work load, or that they might schedule me for an interview at a local office.. I am in California.. I have attached the notice below

Can anyone give me an idea of what else may be going on here?

Case Was Transferred And A New Office Has Jurisdiction

On December 19, 2016, we transferred your Form I-130, Petition for Alien Relative, Receipt Number LINXXXXXXXXXX, to another USCIS office. That office now has jurisdiction over your case. We sent you a notice that explains why we moved your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your notice by January 18, 2017, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request a copy of the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

If my case was transferred to a local California field office, could this mean they want to take a second look at my case and possibly schedule me for an interview?

If you petition is moved to a local office, count on an interview.

@pushbrk

 I know have posted on some other threads, but I wanted your insights in regards to my case.

About a week ago it was sent from NSC to NBC.  On the notice it states "We have completed a preliminary review of the application ("your case") listed above.  As a part of standard processing your case to the USCIS office listed below now has jurisdiction over your case.  That office will notify you in writing when they make a decision on your case or if they need additional information."

Do you think this means they will most likely send my case to a local office for further review?

I would appreciate your help and expertise.

Thank you so much!

They could but, no, this is not an indication it is likely they will do so.
