New fees on the 23rd

I'm posting this as a reminder to anyone filing paperwork. Don't forget that the fee schedule for filing forms is going up! If you get it postmarked before the new effective date it will still be the original fee. The new fees are effective the 23rd of this month!

I only know for the fiance k1 visa as this is what we filed for but please don't be fooled by thinking it will be the price it says on here. There are lots of other fees for the K1 so that is not the total fee for everything. The US citizen may only have to pay the price it says on here but the beneficiary will also have to pay the fee for the medical, courier (dependant on country of benificiary) MPV visa fee. For the UK it was £290 for the medical, £18 courier and £222 for the visa payment. Please do not forget what the benificiary pays for. We we filed we were not aware of the MPV payment or whatever it's called. So make sure the beneficiary has the ability to cover the costs for these things too.

Like I said I am not sure about any other visas you can apply for but be sure you know what all the costs are both ends
