Should I worry if I'm behind "processing times"?

Hi folks!

I submitted my K-1 Fiancee application for my Finnish fiancee and got the NOA1 on October 19, 2016. Since then, I haven't heard anything. My application is being processed at CSC, and from this page it sounds like they're already processing applications from November 7. Is the fact that I haven't heard anything back yet a bad sign? Or do they just process things in all sorts of orders? (I guess a sub-question is how one should process the info on the processing times page.)

Have you seen the October filers thread. While many moved to NOA2 quickly, there are others who have not yet.

If you fill in your timeline it will give you approximate adjudication dates. It's also good to list your country on your profile so that your posts can be directed to the proper country portal. That will be important come interview prepare time.

No worries! It will just help you further down the line if you have questions.

Try not to worry. I know its difficult when you see everyone getting approvals and you are still waiting. It happens sometime.

The processing times charts are approximates. Some get adjudicated quicker, some take longer. Depends on how fast the adjudicator assigned to your petition works, if they took vacation, had sick days, etc.
