Anyone still having problems going to U.S. with a one-way ticket?

Specifically Im thinking about Asiana or EVA Airlines.

When I was on Asiana and you select ONE WAY - they give you a huge warning banner on the website about doing that.

Do they comprehend a ONE-WAY ticket for K1 visas or not?

12/13/16....Case Number Received

12/15/16....Case status set as "In Transit"  to US Embassy in Manilla, PH

12/19/16....Embassy Received. Case status set as "Ready"

12/19/16....Emailed NVC asking for case information as it was never received (I know its too early - Just Do It Anyway)

01/04/17....Fedex I-134 (wet signature) and all documents needed from petitioner for CFO and for the USEM interview (employment, divorce decree, etc...)
02/08/17....Interview 
02/09/17....Visa Issued

02/15/17....Visa In Hand :jest:

02/17/17....CFO Interview, Yellow sticker in hand

They may be warning people because most the time immigrations in Philippines won't let you through into the terminal unless they see a round trip... that i am aware of anyways....

I haven't heard of any problems with those airlines; but perhaps should call them and ask.

We used Emirates one way through Dubai, mostly cause it was cheapest one way, and my partner had no issues at all. They didn't even need to verify purchasers credit card or anything.

A warning can be a non conditional statement which gives you a last minute warning to check your airline and country that a one way is allowable. Some countries require an onward ticket so the airline does not want to contend with a dissatisfied customer when it's not they're fault. Going to USA on a visa and a one way ticket is not a problem.

We flew with Korea and had no warnings. The only way to buy a ticket was one way for her. They would not issue a round trip ticket because she had to fly on the departing ticket from US in order for them to issue her a ticket leaving the Philippines. The round trip ticket was cheaper than the one way so I really tried to get the round trip ticket.

We flew 09-22-16
