No text or email receipt for 129f yet

Yes I know I'm impatient and it's been only a few days. Sent 129f via express mail, they signed for it last wednesday. Guess I assumed they would've texted me by now confirming receipt. I'm sure they r swamped since k1 fees go up soon. Should I hear something this week?

The holiday season started so everything might be a little later, including NOA1's. Let's hope you hear something this week but I wouldn't be surprised if it comes in your mailbox after Christmas.

Most likely. It is also holiday season so you have both things to take into account. Usually 7-10 business days I would think is standard for them to get it at CSC. That's where they will send you the NOA1 notice from. The lockbox simply receives it and then sends it to the appropriate service center.

Yes but I thought they cash ur check and scan ur documents before they send to one of the service centers, no?

No because the USCIS is a component of the United States Department of Homeland Security and that's what your check is written to. Not the lockbox, they don't have the authority to cash checks.

I have read a couple of posts on here where they have received the NOA1 but not cashed the money orders.

If they are mailing the NOA1 to you in the post it is probably slow at the moment due to Christmas, also the fact that you have Thanksgiving.

I would give it a little while longer maybe even until after the Christmas period and see where you stand then

Having the same question myself.. just noticed that the check was cashed yesterday. But no text or email yet. I thought that was the purpose of the G-1145...a notification of receipt.

We got our NOA1's a week after the check was cashed. Just keep in mind that a lot of people are off this week and next week due the holiday season. Unfortunate time when it comes to petitions and delays.

I sent mine on 12/1, it was received on 12/6, but I didn't get a NOA1 until 12/22. So it took them 6 days after receipt to send the NOA1 in my case. I used the same form and lockbox as you, so I would expect a similar timeframe for you.

I see they took the $340 from my bank today (Tuesday) so maybe I'll get official notification soon

Lol! Wouldn't it be nice to get notification when it's actually received! I'm so impatient with this kind of thing...you'd think I'd be used to it by now, as I work for the government myself! Checking my spam folders again, but hopefully we'll get something in the next day or two. I sent the package in on the 9th, and they cashed the check yesterday...or I should say the check cleared yesterday. I take it to mean that the Uscis centre now has the package, don't know which centre has it yet either, although I'm assuming it's the California one as that is where I live.

Just a reminder, in case anyone forgot, all of the filing fees for forms are going up in the next few days! Get it post marked before the new fees take effect! I think it's the 23rd, but not positive.
