I90 - 9months later.....

My GC was approved back in February and in march I sent my card back cause USCIS gave me a ten year card and I was supposed to have the two yr card. Anyway, I did my biometrics long time ago and now nine months later I still haven't heard anything. Sent a service request in this past week which I got back almost immediately with a "case closed" and nothing they could do about it.

My stamp in my passport (I551 for travel) expired a few months back.

Like HOW long should I seriously wait?? Anything I can do to see what's going on?!

You can ask one of your congressional representatives to enquire as to the case status.

You could also contact the CIS Ombudsman to do the same.

Don't forget that you can make another Infopass appointment and obtain a second I-551 passport stamp. This is certainly something I would do, given the current climate in the US towards immigrants.
