Timeline

If my fiancé was denied before because lack of information about his dad that came to the states years ago. Will it be difficult when we get mairred and i file for him.

And will my section 8 housing be an issue as well.

On the dad:

It depends why exactly he was denied last time. What visa was applied for, and what info did he not have? For example, it would be extremely unusual to get a fiance visa denied simply because you did not know the exact birthday of the beneficiary's father; if that happened, they most liekly used that as an excuse for something else, a red flag (for example, are you much older than him?).

On the housing: Section 8 itself won;t disqualify you from getting a visa for him, but you will probably need a co=sponsor to cover the financial sponsoring.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

It sounds like someone tried to file for him, and there was no proof of relationship. It will come up in his interview, but it will not be a problem. In regard to the Section 8. Your benefits will not affect him, however, if you qualify for means tested benefits, you do not meet the income guidelines set by USCIS, and will need a co-sponsor.
