AOS: RFIE on I-485, restarts clock or stops/starts for EAD?

What does everyone think? Or if somebody knows for sure...



After reading the details on this link for the "more than 75 days pending" service request option on the EAD: https://www.uscis.go...ng-more-75-days



Would the clock completely restart on the EAD since I got a request for initial evidence on the I-485? Or would it just stop/start back up on the day the RFIE response was received?

Most of the times a request for initial/additional evidence for I-485 freezes the processing of the I-765 and I-131 but there have been people approved while there RFE was pending.

I already googled this on here in the search since I received one and the answer varied a lot. But 90% was sure it freezes until your send your RFE response back.

01/13/2016: I-129F filed  07/15/2016: K-1 visa in hand
10/13/2016: Filed AOS + EAD/AP.   07/07/2017: Permanent resident (Conditional)
04/16/2019: Filed ROC  11/17/2020: Approved. (10 yr GC)

 

Naturalization                                                        
09/02/2020: Filed (Online)    09/08/2020: NOA1: (NBC) 
10/22/2020: Biometrics Reuse Notice.  12/22/2020: Online Status Changed to Interview Was Scheduled.  
01/29/2021: N-400 Interview - PASSED! 01/29/2021: Same-day oath ceremony.

I already googled this on here in the search since I received one and the answer varied a lot. But 90% was sure it freezes until your send your RFE response back.

I've also read that it could go either way - it just sucks there's no real "standard" to go by.

I'll try calling in tomorrow and see if I can get thru to a supervisor. I'd call in today but today is the 75th day so I'll save my chance for tomorrow lol
