Good AM

I am an applicant in the Philippines (Famiy Based) and is currently complying civil/supporting documents to be submitted to NVC. I would like to ask, do I need to submit original copy of NBI clearance or just a photocopy of it?? Will my original supporting documents be taken away from me when the embassy interview comes?

Do not submit originals. Just bring them during interview. All must be in photocopies unless you have extra original to spare. All the best for your case.

No, a photocopy of your NBI clearance you can send it to nvc. Original just keep it. When your interview scheduled you can submit to embassy your original NBI clearance

Good Luck!

is that so?? I was just concern about it because my mother (petitioner) told me that i need to submit original nbi clearance (upper half) to NVC while the other half ( personal copy) be submitted to embassy during interview. I will tell her that a photocopy is needed for NVC.

Welcome!

No, do a photocopy upper half and personal copy both sides of your NBI clearance then, you can send it to nvc. During your interview the upper half of your NBI clearance you can submit to embassy then, the personal copy just keep it. My case was completed last Friday.

Good luck!
