NVC DEADLINE PASSED

So i am a american citizen and my wife is vietnamese. We got married in vietnam. We have been approved by uscis and now we have been going through the nvc. When i submitted my paperwork they told me it was gonna be a 6 week deadline on their side. I called about 5 times in that 6 week period and they told me they couldnt discuss my cause and that it was being reviewed. 6 weeks and 1 day later i called again and they told me they never started to review the cause cause they forgot to download the ds260 that was completed 6 weeks and 1 day prior. They lady who i spoke to said she doesnt see any problems with the case and that is was a mistake on their side and that the cause will now be handed over to a supervisor for review. Oh the supervisor review is done quickly but could take up to 6 weeks. So i repeatly ask them what is quickly. So i tried to talk to a supervisor but they are never free so they put me on a call back list. Im still waiting for a call i dont think they will ever make. HAS ANYONE ELSE GONE THROUGH THIS AND HOW LONG DOES A SUPERVISOR REVIEW TAKE?

It takes as long as it takes. There is no real hurrying up the process. After the next 6 week wait you could try to get your senator or congressmen involved to find out somthing.

You're in the same boat as everyone else. Cases are supposed to take six weeks to review, but they are currently usually taking eight or more. Your timeframe looks normal, unfortunately.

P.S. "Supervisor Review" doesn't really mean anything anymore. Everyone is so far behind that yes, your case gets marked as taking longer than usual, but so does yours and hundreds of others, so it pretty much happens when it happens! NVC is really behind right now
