That makes sense, thank you. :)

Thanks! If the nurse does her job correctly and marks my vaccinations as complete, then I won't have to worry about this anymore, right? I won't have to do any medical or vaccinations for AOS.

And if they mark the vaccinations correctly and if they put it in your package and if cbp or uscis don't lose your medical along the way..

So in theory, you're good to go! Just that disclaimer since I've heard so mny stories on here to know, that there are never any guarantees ;)

Hahaha, Right!! One never knows.

Thank you SO much for your help and support. Other K1 people in Madrid are also annoyed at the situation. The nurse keeps spreading wrong information and telling everyone to do it stateside, so a lot of people left without their DS-3025 and now they have to find a civil surgeon in the States. Oh well. I am so thankful for VisaJourney, otherwise we'd be so lost!

I submitted my AOS,EAD,AP yesterday through an Attorney and all he asked me to give him was my vaccination record book that shows the shots i had in my home country during my medical appointment. He said my medical is still good because its less than a year old.

I noticed many concerned K1 about this topic.

I see just as many rfe's from ppl with attorneys as from ppl that do this themselves. Just cause your attorney asked for that doesn't mean the uscis accepts that book. Normally if you don't have your DS-3025 (or rather if it's not in the PoE package going to uscis) you need to have a CS fill out the vaccination supplement portion of the i-693. Edited by Suss&Camm

I think what Suss&Camm meant is that the USCIS may not accept the vaccination records from your country, and it's much safer to have a DS-3025 completed during embassy medical exam because that way you wouldn't have to do anything stateside (unles for any reason that DS-3025 gets lost in the way).

Nobody is assuming this (although it is known to happen) but the OP's problem was that they didn't do the DS3025 as part of her overseas medical, in which case it wouldn't be. My comment was regarding that you said your attorney asked for your vaccination booklet, which is not needed nor something the uscis looks at, regardless if your vaccination is complete or not with your medical. So sending these to the uscis will neither help or not help.

Exactly. And that's because they filled out a DS3025 for them when they did their medical exam for the embassy. My problem was that the nurse refused to complete this form for me, in which case I'd have to go to a civil surgeon once in the USA to complete it before applying for AOS, which is unfair as I would skip this part if she didn't refuse. That's all. ;)

How could you even get your K1 without a proper medical .in my understanding your medical must be completed before your K1 visa is issued .

The medical has to be completed, the vaccinations are "encouraged" to get since required for aos.

From uscis website:

"Medical Examination and Vaccination Requirements

In preparing for the interview, applicants will need to schedule and complete a medical examination. Before the issuance of an immigrant or K visa, every applicant, regardless of age, must undergo a medical examination which must be performed by an authorized panel physician. You will be provided instructions regarding medical examinations from the U.S. Embassy or Consulate where you will apply for your visa, including information on authorized panel physicians. See Medical Examination for more information, including a list of panel physicians by country, and frequently asked questions.

K visa applicants are encouraged to get the vaccinations required under U.S. immigration law for immigrant visa applicants. Although such vaccinations are not required for K visa issuance, they will be required when adjusting status to that of legal permanent resident following your marriage. Applicants are therefore encouraged to fulfill these vaccination requirements at the time of the medical examination. See Vaccination Requirements for IV Applicants for the list of required vaccinations and additional information."

If USCIS doesnt reconize a vaccinations record book wich i doubt then they will send you a letter to get new shots but they wont tag it as RFE its just a letter with recommended approved physicians but again if a person already had a vaccination it may not be a wise thing to do another one without considering health risk of that shot.

So I went today and the nurse filled my DS3025 and marked my vaccines as complete, although she didn't seem to know a lot about fiances. At first she wanted to give the form to me. When I told her it should go inside the sealed envelope, she was like "oh, but we don't have instructions to do that with fiances." So she called the embassy, and the embassy told her to include it in the envelope. So she had to take the documents out, include the DS3025 and then put it all together in another envelope.

And the thing is that the secretary, who sealed the new envelope, put the clinic stamp on top of the clear tape (instead of below, as I've seen instructed in i-693), and now part of the clinic stamp is gone, erased or blurred (as plastic doesn't absorb ink as well as paper, lol). I did bring it to the attention of the secretary, and she said to not worry about it. What do you think? Would the embassy look at it suspiciously because part of the clinic stamp is gone?? I mean, the envelope is clearly sealed and unopened.

Btw, the nurse wanted to mark me as immigrant on their form because she said only immigrants get their DS3025. I had to tell her K1 is a non-immigrant visa. o.O
