Hi Vj members, I got married 23 Novermber and got my marriage certificate and a certified copy all together. And am about to file AOS but I just realized that my marriage certificate has my address in my home country on it.

This is because my then fiancé who is now my husband got a marriage licence while I was arranging documents for my k1 visa interview and that was before I left for the United States. The licence is actually valid for 6months.

My question is, would it be a Problem to submit this marriage certificate with my previous Address since I live in America now with my husband?

Hi, I think if you can prove where you live now it is fine. Nothing i have tried to use it for (ie bank account, add to insurance) has used the marriage certificate as valid proof of address anyway. Good luck.
