I just want to thank you all for all the support. This forum helps me a lot. I just received my 10 years Green Card today. 

 

Dec 2, 2016 - We filed with my attorney I-751 Waiver

Jan 2, 2017 - Biometrics & NOA

Feb 2018 - I-551 stamp in my passport

Mar 2018 - Glitch

July 2018 - Interview

Aug 2018 - Approved & got my 10 years Green card. 

 

I was so happy, the long wait is over! One more step going to my Citizenship. Good luck everyone. I wish you all the best!

@xilef  thank you for advice.

I went to the USCIS office for N400 interview while having I751 pending.

Of course my wife went there with me and the officer, although not stated on the interview paper, also stated I had to bring my wife due to the pending I751.

 

She went over N400 interview; basic 6 / 10 us history questions, reading, and writing.

Overall it went fine but she said that she still has to adjust / process my I751 in order to process my N400 application, which will take about 1-2 weeks and another 2 months to schedule an oath ceremony.

Although it feels I am in good standing but won't judge until I hear that my green card application is completed.

Hopefully I am done with everything..

That's great to hear @newsonys I know a lot of folks were refused a combo interview. Do you happen to remember your officers name ? it seems like you received the same lady as @gabreigns

@xilef  I'm just little afraid if it is okay to give out the officer name anywhere in public. 

I will only say it was a lady officer for now and it may be the same officer as the other intervieee.

So, I haven't checked this thread for awhile, more precisely, since I got a RFE back in July. I spoke with two attorneys and both had the same feedback. I had already sent a lot (and enough) of documentation to be approved, but because I am a divorce waiver, I could be being looked more closely.

So, I ended up hiring an attorney to help me with thr RFE. I did mostly everything on my own up to this point and I did not want to regret being cheap on a situation like this.

My attorney's response was pretty much similar to what I have seen in this forum and my main I751 response. I just made me more poor (this was F* expensive).

I sent my RFE package last week and received an email on Friday confirming they received it and will get back to me within 60 days, otherwise I can follow up with them.

 

My 90 days deadline was today. So I was cutting very close to the limit. Hopefully that will not count against me.

Let's see. I hope I receive good news soon.

I am so sorry if your still in the process of I-751. Keep the faith, your 10 years Green Card will arrive soon! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 I also filed I-751 divorce waiver last Dec 2016. Just like you, I was feeling down, stressed and disoriented. I got my interview last June 20, 2018. I was so nervous and it was nerved wracking. But thanks God after a month of my interview I received a letter of Approval. I believe, you will recieve your in 7-14days. Keep the faith! Everything will turn out right. The process of my I-751 took 18months. Feel free to message me if you have a question. God bless.

per my wife, they only made a photocopy of her driver's license.. .no questions.

I did my N-400 interview first, which took about 40 min.

Then my wife went in and came out in a couple min.

After such a long wait, here I am. no interviews, but a RFE instead.
