My Fiance received her interview date for 1/24/2017.

Do I need to be there or should I be there for the interview?

What type of questions should she expect?

Also, when she is ready to leave VN, what airline is the best (most affordable) for extra or large luggage? We will be flying to LAX (Los Angeles, CA).

You don't have to be there but if I were you, I would be there for emotional support. I actually went to the interview with my then-fiancee and brought her home with me. :)

There are plenty of threads here about what type of questions she can expect to be asked. Do a search.

Delta and United allow 2 free checked bags. If you fly Korean Air out of Saigon (or Japan Airlines), then you are also entitled to 2 free checked bags. Each is limited to 50 lbs, though. Other airlines will only allow 1 free. Check with your travel agent or Google.
