Question regarding I-134 interview requirement

Hi all,

I am confused about how many I-134 Affidavit of Support forms I should bring to my K1 Visa interview.

My fiancée in the US (the petitioner) has no income so we are having her father sponsor us. He has agreed to complete an I-134 form.

Does my fiancée have to complete her own I-134 or is the form from her father sufficient?

So do I...

A) Bring two I-134s, one completed by petitioner (fiancée) AND one completed by sponsor (her father)

OR

B) Only bring one I-134 completed by sponsor (her father)

Any help would be appreciated!

James

The answer is A.

You need a signed I-134 form from both the petitioner and the co-sponsor.

Also both must supply all(or whatever they can that is) of the supporting documentation also (W2's, pay stubs, employment letters, bank statements(if using assets), ect.)

You do not need to fill one out...but both your fiance and her father will fill one out. Even though she has no income he has to provide the same documents her father has to provided (as the previous post states) if she doesn't have a bank account, assets, W2, or tax returns she should write a letter explaining she doesn't have them.
